Mahableshwar is a popular hill station in sahyadris in maharashtra.it is about 4710 ft above sea level 

I) ways to reach : mahableshwar is well-connected by roads . ST buses as well as private buses ply there from Mumbai and Pune .it is easily accessible by car too.time taken from Mumbai is anywhere between six to eight hours 

II) sight seeing spots : pratapgrah,venna lake,lingamala falls ,lodeick point,wilson point, Kate's point, Arthur's seat,mapro garden,etc.

III) shopping : in main bazaar .sarees ,shawls,bed covers and bedsheets ,blankets, etc .famous for fruits like strawberries,malberries and cherries 

IV) suitable time for visiting mahableshwar : October to April .the adventurous can try going during monsoon, when there are very heavy rains 

V) accomodations available : a variety of hotels ,right from budgets hotels to the 5 stars ones . Advisable to book beforehand , especially during the season

VI) restaurant and food :  a variety of cuisine to suit every palate .

Mahableshwar can be extremely expensive and crowded during the peaks season between April 15 to june 15 , and during Diwali weekends too tend to be very crowded.
